Little Portion Hermitage
The new chapel was completed spring 2010.  Skiles
Architect worked closely with community members on
a new design for the 14,000 sf multi-use facility.
Design of the custom trusses was a keystone of the
project. Sustainable building components included
ICF wall construction, SIP roof panels, passive solar
clerestory at dining hall, abundant daylighting, local
stone and regionally fabricated pine trusses.
